Amazon Hiring Event Q & A:
Q. What can I expect when I attend one of the events listed?
A. If you completed an online application & assessment in advance and were invited to attend a Hiring Event, you are considered “Registered.” Amazon will have emailed or texted you a scheduled arrival time between 9 AM – 5 PM. At the event, you will provide employment eligibility verification documents and complete other Amazon on-boarding activities including a drug test. Walk-ins may only complete an online application if the Amazon job link is active. Otherwise, you will be assisted with creating an Amazon job profile, and signed up to receive a text notification for when the job opens. Walk-ins should arrive by 2:30 PM. Jobs POSTED HERE.
Q. What should I bring?
A. All jobseekers, Registered & Walk-Ins, should bring acceptable identification listed at: I-9 verification documents. If you do not have I-9 documentation, you will be asked to return to another event. I-9 documents verify your ability to work in the United States. Acceptable examples include: a current U.S. Passport, Permanent Resident Card or Alien Registration Receipt Card, or current Employment Authorization Document Card. If you do not have these documents, a valid driver’s license, military ID card, or ID card issued by a government entity, PLUS a Social Security Card or birth certificate are acceptable.
Q. What can I do ahead to prepare?
A. An application is only considered complete once a candidate has passed the assessment, selected a shift(s) and completed an I-9 employment eligibility verification form. This form is accessed through a link and a PIN that is emailed to a candidate after shifts are selected following a successful online application and assessment.
Q. How long can I expect to be at the Hiring Event?
