Habiba Salimi
Cyber Mini Defense Toolkit
When Habiba Salimi enrolled in Workforce Alliance's Cyber Mini Defense Toolkit program, she had little experience with cybersecurity but a strong curiosity to learn. Through hands-on projects, interactive activities, and a supportive learning environment, that curiosity quickly grew into confidence.
"The Cyber Mini Defense Toolkit program was one of the most enjoyable learning experiences I've had. Before this program, I had very little experience with cybersecurity, but through the activities and projects, I gained new skills and confidence."
Habiba Salimi
Beyond the technical skills she developed, Habiba valued the encouragement she received from instructors and peers, which made her feel comfortable exploring new ideas and asking questions. The experience sparked an interest in cybersecurity, technology, and healthcare careers, inspiring her to pursue additional training and real-world learning opportunities.
As she continues her journey, Workforce Alliance's Youth Center will help connect her to mentorship, career exploration, and technology-focused programs that support her growth. For Habiba, the Cyber Mini Defense Toolkit program was more than a class. It was the beginning of a new path and a future she is excited to continue exploring.
