Youth with Disabilities

There is a career out there with your name on it.

When you think you can’t, think again, because YES YOU CAN!

How We Can Help

The South Central CTWorks Career Centers are an important source of information for employers and people with disabilities looking for jobs.

We know how to help people with disabilities get started, and ultimately succeed in the job market.

Young people can discover the many kinds of jobs that await them. With modern technology there is almost no limit to what you can do.

The workplace is friendlier.

The tools you need for basic tasks are no longer as expensive as they once were. Employers are used to making accommodations to assist workers with disabilities.

Co-workers are more sensitive to diversity.

It is amazing what getting to know someone can do to your fears and worries. The increasing number of workers with disabilities has changed the way most employees behave. You can expect co-workers to be friendly, cooperative, and relaxed.

Employers are eager to make use of your abilities.

Employers have learned to see the ability in individuals. Over the years, they have improved their understanding of the needs – and the benefits – of working with a wide range of people.
