The Report of the Youth Policy Council
The report outlines five substantial areas that shape a young person’s readiness for success in life: basic needs, positive social and emotional development, physical health, job readiness, and formal education. The report was prepared for the Youth Committee of the Connecticut Education and Training Commission, which oversees much of the work done by Workforce Alliance and the state’s four other Workforce Investment Boards. Youth Council Gives Young People a Voice
The Workforce Alliance Youth Council membership is made up of Board Members, stakeholders and young people from the community, who all share a mission. They devise strategic themes for action, and oversee youth training opportunities. They also host the annual YouthNet InfoXchange, to build capacity among providers to Youth Services. |
