State of the Workforce

State of the Workforce 2008 – Education and Economic Success
Each year, Workforce Alliance publishes a State of the Workforce report that uses economic indicators to better understand the regional labor market. State of the Workforce 2008 – Post-Secondary Education in Focus examines the role of Community Colleges as primary suppliers of an ever larger percentage of our workforce. In addition to the summary report, there is a PowerPoint presentation that delves further into the numbers behind the trend. Area media showed interest in the findings and stories appeared in the New Haven Register and the Meriden Record-Journal.

Previous reports include: State of the Workforce 2007/The Haves, Have-Nots and Used-to-Haves, which describes the structural changes that are reshaping the workplace. There is also a PowerPoint Presentation to take you deeper into the subject.
