Workforce Alliance offers the full array of job development services to employers in concert with employee services through our three CTWorks One-Stop Career Centers. Whether you are looking for new employees, or want assistance training existing employees, Workforce Alliance can help. Recruitment assistance can reduce your workload because we screen and evaluate the candidates, you simply interview the best people in the shortest time frame.
Workforce Alliance cares about who you hire, and frequently provides ongoing services after placement. At no cost to you, we offer an assigned Workforce Alliance or CTWorks representative to work with you on meeting your needs, as well as a career consultant who can provide pre-screened and assessed individuals matched to your specific criteria.

Business Services Specialists work with businesses to match current positions with the thousands of viable candidates that go through our three CTWorks Career Centers each year. All services are offered at no charge.
Candidates are pre-qualified to match your openings. In addition to entry level personnel, we also place managers, computer technicians, healthcare workers, skilled tradespeople, and more. Workforce professionals screen and evaluate candidates; you do the final round of interviews and make the hire.
Employers seeking candidates for certain positions may register with Workforce Alliance. We will aid you in your search by screening and identifying job seekers who meet your criteria. As an additional resource, we have an active, up-to-date on-line database of individuals looking for work. There are a number of state and federal tax credit options for employers who hire eligible, qualified individuals. These incentives range from a hiring credit of $125 per month, to a Welfare-to-Work credit that can add up to $8,500 in a two-year period. Workforce Alliance and our partners, including the Department of Labor, sponsor job fairs that allow employers to meet and interview an extensive number of candidates in a central location. We can host individualized open houses at your site, or provide a site for you to use. We also participate in general job fairs, where you can mount a display for your company. The Rides To Work provides transportation services to help low income residents of South Central Connecticut get to interviews and job sites that are not currently accessible by public transportation. A new program also includes assistance for expenses associated with an employee's vehicle, when the car is necessary for getting or keeping a job.
