One Stop Services Update    

CTHires is the Connecticut Department of Labor's new hub for job development, training and other career services. Jobseekers and employers both new and continuing can use this system. To learn more visit  

As of Dec. 22, 2015, you must be registered in CTHires to enroll in most workshops. Please contact your Employment Specialist or call or stop by the New Haven, Hamden or Meriden One Stops for assistance. Don’t have an Employment Specialist? Call to register for a One Stop Services Orientation in New Haven or Meriden. One Stop Services Orientation provides an overview and entry into core One Stop services including job development assistance and/or individual training access. This workshop is for dislocated or laid-off workers, low-income adults or those simply unemployed or underemployed. This is the recommended first stop for those new to CTWorks/American Job Center network.

New Job Center Opens

The American Job Center at New Haven Correctional Center, 245 Whalley Avenue, now open.
